Innovative LTE Radios with Licensed Professional Radio Mode for Increased Capacity and Coverage
The IP730D Lite and IP740D Lite are dual mode “hybrid” radios that provide nationwide coverage over LTE networks and conventional VHF/UHF professional radio mode (IDAS™ digital/analog mode).
Nationwide Cellular (LTE) Mode
Cellular (LTE) mode enables push-to-talk communication with nationwide
coverage over a cellular network.* The IP730D Lite series is
compatible with the IP503H Lite, IP transceiver.
Network coverage provided by a generally available data SIM card.
Radio registration is required separately.
IDAS™ Digital & Analogue for Local Alternative
IDAS™ digital mode and analogue FM mode are conventional VHF/UHF radio technologies that operate on licensed professional radio channels. When cellular networks are unavailable, these conventional VHF/UHF systems offer a reliable, local alternative communications.
Dual Mode Operation with Sub PTT Button
The IP730D Lite series can receive both Cellular (LTE) and IDAS™ (or analogue) mode calls simultaneously. The main and sub PTT buttons allow for seamless switching between two modes to respond to calls.
Simultaneous TalkListen™ in Cellular (LTE) Mode
The Simultaneous TalkListen™ provides full-duplex one-to-many communication in Cellular (LTE) mode,allowing users to talk and receive at the same time similar to a telephone style conversation.
1300 mW Powerful Audio
Icom’s custom high-power capacity speaker delivers a loud 1300 mW* audio output with improved acoustic sound clarity for noisy environments.

Built-in Bluetooth® Technology
Bluetooth® Unit*
Built-in Bluetooth® capability provides wireless operation with a Bluetooth accessory. The optional Bluetooth® headset, VS-3 has PTT and programmable buttons.
GPS Data Transmission Capability
The IP730D Lite series has a built-in GPS receiver that can automatically transmit position data at programmed intervals*. (LTE mode only)
* GPS mapping software is required separately.

IP67 Dust-Tight, Waterproof and MIL-STD-810
The IP730D Lite series is built-to withstand water pressure at a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes and offers dust-tight protection. It also meets MIL-STD-810 specifications for durability.
Emergency Call Features Specification
By holding down the orange emergency button, you can transmit an emergency call. In addition, the radio has three emergency related functions: Man Down, Lone Worker and Motion/Stationary Detection functions. If one of these functions is activated, the radio automatically transmits emergency signals to alert your controller or dispatcher of any potential trouble.

Digital Voice Recording/Playback
The IP730D Lite series can record incoming calls of up to 4 minutes, or a maximum of 10 messages, and the user can check recorded communications.

Note for the difference between IP730D/IP740D Lite and IP730D/IP740D
The IP730D/740D “Lite” uses a generally available data SIM card and is controlled by the IP4000C system.
The IP730D/IP740D “Lite” is not compatible with IP730D/IP740D radios which use a closed network provided by dedicated data SIM card.
Bluetooth® connection has not been tested for all Bluetooth® compatible devices with this product. This does not guarantee that all devices will work with this product
